My Favorite Holiday

I just love St. Patrick's Day in Dallas. Even though I haven't actually attended the parade in a few years, I love the atmosphere in the M Streets area. It is really fun to me to see so many people in green hanging out on their lawns spending the day outside with family and friends.

The fact that it is my favorite holiday led my sister to buy these for our little Baby B last year! It was one of her first outfits! I couldn't wait to get them on her this year:


We spent the Saturday hopping around to a couple of parties. We celebrated with the KGB, the MMB, and other good church friends first.



Then we went to Pat & Joe's new house - our favorite St. Pat's Day hangout. They make some awesome corned beef and cabbage and are about the best hosts we know.


Rebekah and I spent the afternoon of St. Pat's with some of our mommy friends having a picnic in the courtyard at Northpark Mall. It was great fun!


Our friend Becky made us some great corned beef and cabbage on Thursday as well, but I guess I was done taking pictures by then. :)

All in all, it was a great way to spend the week celebrating Rebekah's first St. Patrick's Day!

Trip to San Francisco

A couple of weeks ago we took a trip to San Francisco to see Adam's brother get married. We had a great time with the family and meeting some of their friends. I'm not sure Justin's friend was glad to meet Rebekah since she had an explosion all over him, but he still held her afterward so I guess it didn't scar him too badly!

We were able to have some family time Friday morning before the ceremony. We went to Ghiradelli Square and went to a pier with a bunch of old refurbished boats.

Saturday was our family day. We were out all day from 9-6:30 and Rebekah was such a trooper! We went to Alcatraz, walked around Pier 39, then went for a trolley ride. The weather could not have been more perfect, especially for SF in March! Please enjoy our photos:

6 Month Update

Well, I am finally getting Rebekah's 6 month photos up - 6 days away from her 7 month birthday! I've already complained about how busy we've been, so I'll skip that. I've already posted the bee photos, so I can skip that too. I've already given you a summary of how she grew between 5 and 6 months (which is good because she's changed so much in the last few weeks that it would be hard to remember!

6 Month Update - Well, Bee Picutres...

I am soooo far behind on pictures! It is March 13 and I still haven't posted Rebekah's 6 month photos. I'll blame the 2 Billmeier weddings we had 3 weeks apart from each other. ;)

I also did a talk at church this morning. I kind got into school mode where I drop everything else for a week to wrap up the presentation. It went well, and now I'm catching up on things.

Well, I at least wanted to get the Bee pictures updated and shared. Here's the album with the latest photos included. Hopefully I can go thru the rest of the 6 month pics and finish that tomorrow!
